Oh what to do on a cold, rainy/snowy day while camping at Nevada Beach? On the recommendation of a friend we took a drive to Genoa. It was only about a 30 minute ride and the scenery was beautiful.
Don’t wanna lie… the main reason we wanted to go was because they boast about having the oldest bar in Nevada. How could we not search it out to have a Bloody Mary??
Genoa was the cutest little town. Thank you Nancy H. for suggesting it.
On the way home we stopped at Harriet’s Cafe at the David Walley’s Hot Springs Resort for a delicious lunch.
By the time we got back to Nevada Beach the weather had cleared and the snow melted. Time to build a campfire and make a cocktail!
