Our four Rvs caravaned to Needles yesterday where we had a one night reservation at the Marina RV park.

All sites here are pull-thrus… yeah!… no backing in today!

Our trucks needed to fuel up. Our neighbor told us to drive across the bridge to Arizona because it was cheaper. Diesel was $4.39 a gallon in Needles and we got it for $2.69 five minutes away in Arizona.  Really California???

Much cheaper fuel across this bridge.

The place where we wanted to eat dinner was closed so we settled on The 19th Hole… a little bar and restaurant on the golf course right across the street. That meant we could walk to it, which then meant we could have that second (or third!) cocktail. It was kind of a shanty-looking place but the reviews were good and it had an outside dining patio with a view of the Colorado River.  Can’t beat that!

Our sunset view from the dining patio.

We woke up to a beautiful sunrise, packed up, hitched up and we were on the road before 8:30.

We will arrive in Tempe this afternoon. Tonight we have tickets to the Giants/Cubs game.  Let’s go Giants!!
