Early Saturday morning Dad passed away.
I’ve been staring at this computer trying to find the words to describe him… what a truly wonderful man he was. But if you knew him you already know that. He lived a life of no regrets. His family always came first and he loved us all dearly. He had a strong faith and good morals, but it was his wit and sense of humor that we will remember most.
Dad is now free from illness, pain and suffering for which I am grateful, and I find peace in believing that he and Nancy are together again.
Married seventy years, mom and dad were like two peas in a pod. You hardly ever saw one without the other, and their love for each other was remarkable. Please keep mom in your prayers.

Today we will meet to make funeral arrangements for dad… tomorrow we will spread Nancy’s ashes. This hasn’t been an easy year for our family.
