The on-line class on flower photography taught me something about my camera I did not know before… multiple exposures.  I can set my camera to take up to six pictures and it will compress it into one photograph.

I set my camera to take two exposures to compress into one.  This is similar to the first shot…

And then I defocused to get just blur and took another picture.

The camera then combines both shots and this is what I got…

In Photoshop I desaturated it a little and added a slight painterly texture.
