Newborn photography. Ahhhh… what could be better? Sweet tiny babies under two weeks old. Rock them to sleep and put them in those squishy little poses. They look so peaceful.
Now let’s get real!
Newborn photography is a very specialized niche. But not mine. It looks so easy…. HA! It is the hardest photography I’ve ever done.
And then there was Natalie…
So they came back a week later.
In all fairness to Miss Natalie, we did get a few good shots and she is still one of my favorite subjects to photograph.
I don’t have Collin and Micah’s newborn pictures on my computer anymore, but I don’t remember struggling as much with them. Maybe that’s why I kept on trying with newborns.
But I think for the next babies I will have a list of professional newborn photographers’ names ready to hand out!

Did you forget that Collin peed on grandpa and Micah crapped on me while doing newborn photos?! Lol

Kimberly… YES, I did forget! Good thing or I might have called it quits!

Some of those are hilarious!! We need a slideshow of the ‘real’ pictures at Christmas 🙂 Really, you are amazing – we LOVE Brenden’s newborn pictures! You managed to capture the few moments of peace through the chaos- I call that professional!

You should make a book for Grandma and Grandpa of the good, bad, and ugly.
