Sunday night at Seacliff we were surprised by fireworks. I heard something about it during the day so I looked it up. Every year on the Sunday before the Columbus Day holiday the Rudolph Monte Foundation puts on a fireworks show in Capitola Village. (You can see Capitola from Seacliff.) This year’s fireworks were in memory of Doris Monte, whose son Marc Monte started the foundation. He owns Deluxe Foods of Aptos.
I did a quick research on how to photograph fireworks, set up my tripod in front of our RV and waited for the 8:00 show to begin.
It was beautiful.
This is a composite of several photographs stitched together. The one on the far right is a heart. There were several hearts throughout the show… I’m sure from Marc to his Mom. So sweet.
